Samsung Galaxy S23 series is coming February 1. Not that it is a surprise revelation since leaks and rumours had revealed almost everything before but this is an official confirmation nonetheless. The Galaxy Unpacked event is being hosted on February 1 and Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S23 series here. The teaser already hints at a new shade of green colour that could grace all the variants.
The teaser also hints at the new camera design that will be present on the Galaxy S23 models. The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus are getting the new Galaxy S22 Ultra camera lens inspired design. The camera hump is going away this year across all the upcoming Galaxy S and Galaxy A series devices this year. In India, you will be able to catch the Sadly, Samsung doesn't reveal anything else in the teaser poster.
The Galaxy S23 series is expected to spawn three models this year. The standard variants will be called the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus. These models will make use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips, as the leaks suggest, Samsung will, however, use a boosted version of the chip for improved CPU performance. The Galaxy S23 Ultra, on the other hand, will use the same chip and also get a new 200MP rear camera. Rest of the package is expected to remain similar to the Galaxy S22 series.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 series will take on the Apple iPhone 14 series when it goes on sale in India. Samsung could use the Galaxy S23 to take on the iPhone 14 and the Galaxy S23 Plus to take on the iPhone 14 Plus. The Galaxy S23 Ultra could take on the iPhone 14 Pro. Similar to every year, Samsung could try to keep the prices in check in order to make it more appealing to people.
