Xiaomi recently launched its Redmi K60 series in China with some major upgrades over the K50 series. The latest series unleashed three new products - Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60E. The Pro model comes with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. While there is no confirmation about the launch of the Redmi K60 in India, several leaks suggest that it will be renamed as Poco X5 Pro 5G in the global market. In China, the Redmi K60E starts at RMB 2199 (approximately Rs. 26200) for the 8GB RAM and a 128GB storage model. The Redmi K60 follows with a starting price of RMB 2499 (approximately Rs. 29800) for the 8GB RAM and a 128GB storage model. The Pro model of the Redmi K60 series is priced at RMB 3299 (approximately Rs. 39300) for the 8GB RAM and a 128GB model.
The standard model of the Redmi K60 series is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For photography, it features a 64MP primary sensor with OIS, and everything is backed by a 5500 mAh battery supported by 67W wired fast charging and the same 30W wireless charging.
On the other hand, the Redmi K60E packs the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset and features a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also powered by a 5500 mAh battery capacity with the support of 67W wired charging speed. Sadly, it doesn't support wireless charging. In cameras, it is downgraded to a 48MP primary sensor.
