The report comes from South Korean electronics industry outlet The Elec, which reveals, “Apple is planning to use hole-display for all four models of its iPhone 15 series…Hole-display has a hole in the display panel where the front camera is located, allowing there to be more screens compared to notches”.
This is an interesting development. It could be reminiscent of Samsung's biometric sensors which are done under-display as well. So, all that would remain is one single hole through the display to house the front camera.
