More gameplay footage of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade has leaked online.
Announced in September, Assassin’s Creed Jade is described by the publisher as “a AAA RPG action-adventure game for mobile platforms” set in ancient China.
The videos below are the latest in a series of leaks which reportedly originate from a recently launched beta test.

One of the videos shows off the character creation process followed by about 15 minutes of gameplay as the player is tasked with protecting Yongning village from attackers.
The other takes place in Yangzhou city. It shows the player taking a leap of faith before stealthily infiltrating the district governor’s residence to find and steal a permit. They then exit the location and whistle for their mount before heading off on horseback.

Ubisoft hasn’t officially revealed much about Jade. The title is thought to be a co-development with Chinese gaming giant Tencent, which announced a major strategic partnership with Ubisoft in September.
“We’re going to have a team internally that’s working with our partner to make sure that the game stays true to what we want our Assassin’s Creed games to be,” Marc-Alexis Cote, vice president and executive producer of the Assassin’s Creed series, told VGC when the game was announced.
“We’re partnering where we feel we need expertise to be able to deliver the experience that our fans deserve.”
Jade is one of six upcoming Assassin’s Creed games discussed during a Ubisoft product showcase in September.
