The latest trailer for Marvel Studios' Moon Knightreveals a closer look at Oscar Isaac's new love interest, May Calamawy's Layla. Over the course of the last year, Marvel has brought its behemoth MCU to television through a series of streaming shows made for Disney+. After spending time with familiar characters like Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston), the studio's latest TV project turns to a new character. Moon Knight explores the dark and winding adventures of Marc Spector (Isaac), a mercenary with dissociative identity disorder who is gifted special abilities by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu.
Moon Knight, which was crafted as a 6-episode limited series, kicks off this Wednesday and actually starts out with one of Marc's alternate personalities, Steven Grant. Steven is haunted by sleepless nights and strange memories he can't recall, which might have something to do with whatever Marc's been getting up to. Further complicating matters is the presence of cult leader Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke), though exactly what he wants with Marc/Steven remains to be seen.
