Moon Knight has major implications for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. At first glance, the Moon Knight Disney+ TV show appears unusually disconnected from the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even the show's writer, Jeremy Slater, has admitted he doesn't know where Moon Knighttakes place in the MCU timeline. But that appearance is in fact illusory. Moon Knight may be a standalone adventure, but in fact it has introduced an entirely new pantheon into the MCU — the Egyptian gods.
Marvel's Egyptian gods are very different from the Asgardians, existing on another plane and seeming to only influence the world through their avatars. A great rift somehow came about between the Egyptian gods and human beings at some point, and now most of them have retreated from the world, trusting their avatars and essentially abandoning Earth to its own affairs. Khonshu seems to be the sole exception, insisting on interfering on Earth through his Moon Knights. The introduction of the Egyptian pantheon is a major change to the MCU, and it's particularly important for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

This is because the Wakandans—and particularly their Black Panthers—are associated with the worship of Bast, a Panther God who hails from ancient Egypt where she was known as Bastet. Moon Knight's Egyptian pantheon means the legends of Bast are likely real historical events, and that Bast continues to work through her avatars today.
