Rachnoid Mesmersilk is a new crafting material found in Monster Hunter Rise's Sunbreak expansion. Hunters can use it to make several weapons and armor sets, and this guide will go into detail about where it's found and how to get it.

Monster Hunter Rise players must be in Master Rank to acquire Rachnoid Mesmersilk. The material can only be obtained by carving a small monster called Rachnoid, which has a big white bulb on its back. They also breathe fire, so players should be careful when attempting to kill one.

For hunters that have already made it to the four-star Master Rank questline at the counter, they can find Rachnoids easily by taking on a quest called "Tears for Temnocerans," which requires players to slay 15 Pyrantula or Rachnoid.
By starting this quest, players will see the locations of both creatures on the map indicated by small red dots. Players won't be able to tell which dots are which creatures, but Rachnoids should be hanging out near Zone 13, Zone 11, and Zone 10 in the Lava Caverns.
