The Nintendo Switch has had a stellar year, with plenty of first-party games that managed to exceed expectations and a ton of Indies that impressed. Switch owners have had Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and more, with highly anticipated titles like Splatoon 3 right around the corner. But one of the most impressive Switch games of the year has to be Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, a massive expansion to the already content-rich game.
Adding another 20 hours to the base game, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak brought a slew of new monsters, weapons, biomes, and mechanics. Sunbreak was a truly impressive expansion, but Capcom isn't done with it just yet. Capcom has announced its Tokyo Game Show 2022 schedule, and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is set to take the virtual stage.

Fans can get an overview of Capcom's schedule for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2022 on the company's website. While it is hosting both online and in-person events for a few days, September 15 is the big standout with Capcom set to show off a few of its most anticipated games. Alongside Resident Evil Village Gold, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, Exoprimal, and Street Fighter 6, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is set to appear.
At last year's Tokyo Game Show, Capcom brought a wealth of Monster Hunter news to the table. On top of some Monster Hunter Stories DLC, Capcom also provided more details about its then-upcoming Sunbreak expansion for Monster Hunter Rise, revealing a handful of new monsters and locations. It was also announced that Monster Hunter Rise would be heading to Steam in January 2022.
