Modern Family stars, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet, reunite for the first time in 2 years in a wholesome new video. The highly popular ABC series began in 2009, spanning 11 years on air before ending in 2020, becoming one of the longest-running TV sitcoms. Modern Family garnered critical acclaim and collected many accolades, notably winning an impressive 22 Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award. Modern Family stole the hearts of many with the inside look into the lives of three lovable families, with most of the loyal fanbase growing alongside them for 11 years.
Although all adored, many consider Ferguson and Stonestreets’ Pritchett-Tucker duo to be the standout characters. The pair have been heavily praised for their representation of an LGBTQ family on television. Modern Family’s final season saw Cameron, Mitchell and their adopted Vietnamese daughter Lily add another member to the Pritchett-Tucker family, with Rexford joining towards the end of the season. The duo was perfect for the show, with Mitchell’s more reserved character often clashing with Cameron’s more melodramatic personality, regularly creating a few of the show’s funniest scenes.

Recently, Stonestreettook to Instagramto document his reunion with Ferguson, posting two videos and a few wholesome photos. The pair met again in New York as captioned by Stonestreet, who also said "A meet cute two years in the making. Missed this guy a lot" Initially marking their adorable reunion, Stonestreet also hilariously uploaded a photo of Ferguson with an aging filter and a video of him shouting "Hey that's the redheaded guy from Modern Family" towards the end of the post.
