The annual baseball sim has enjoyed quite the week, since Sony unveiled MLB The Show 2022 on Monday. In addition to showing off gameplay, the publisher also announced Angels star Shohei Ohtani as the cover athlete and confirmed releases for PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox hardware.
Interestingly, MLB The Show's nascent multiplatform efforts date back to late 2019, when the MLB confirmed that Sony would begin launching the usually PlayStation-exclusive baseball sim on other consoles. This announcement finally bore fruit in early 2021, upon the rollout of MLB The Show 21 on Xbox consoles and Xbox Game Pass. Given Sony's increasing interest in multiplatform endeavors, evidenced in a slate of PS4 exclusives recently hitting PC, it should come as no surprise that the mobile market has attracted Playstation's attention.

The studio specifically has its sights set on a Mobile Graphics Expert, someone with several years of experience who would fit well on the Senior Engineering crew.
