A Minecraft user has somehow managed to make a diorama of the universe in the block-building title, and the result is truly magnificent. In an almost literal sense, this fan project shows that it really is a game with near-infinite replay value, and players seem only too keen to show off their creative potential. Despite releasing in 2011, or 2009 for anyone who counts the alpha release, it seems there are still some new ideas to explore, and sometimes they seem almost impossible to actualize.
Much of the game's success means it has managed to transcend the video game world, entering popular culture on the whole. With Minecraft getting its own brand of ice cream, and The Simpsons once honoring the Mojang IP by creating a blocky version of the show's iconic opening, it's hardly surprising that it's gone down as one of the most successful video games in history. A lot of that is down to the sheer dedication and skill that the community demonstrates.

Reddit user ChrisDaCow is no exception when it comes to showcasing their building brilliance. A short clip uploaded to the site shows they've managed to create outer space within Minecraft. The video gives a glimpse into their creation, portraying a series of swirling super cluster galaxies, a black hole, a stunning looking nebula, complete with twinkling stars around the outside, and even the solar system, which includes planet Earth. With the swelling orchestral music, it's a truly incredible build, with ChrisDaCow saying that it took around two months of solid work, using nothing but the game itself, along with OptiFine and WorldEdit.
