Microsoft is offering a lucky few the opportunity to buy an Xbox Series X bundle right now, you just need to cross your fingers and check your inbox.
The latest games consoles continue to be extremely hard to find, and when you do find one it typically carries an extortionately high scalpers price. Microsoft is countering that by offering select Microsoft Store customers the opportunity to purchase a bundle directly from them by following a unique link sent in an email.
This is the second time Microsoft is sending out such emails, after what must have been a successful trial run back in November. As The Verge reports, expect to pay for more than a Series X if you do receive one of these emails. Microsoft is offering to sell you a bundle consisting of the console ($499.99), an extra wireless controller ($59.99), and a digital game ($29.99-$69.99). So the minimum spend is around $590. Even so, that's cheaper than Series X console scalper prices.
If you do receive one of these emails, know that you can only purchase one bundle at a time and two in a 30-day period. There's no guarantee any will be left to buy when you click the link, and to complete the purchase requires having an active Microsoft account login. Good luck!
