Blizzard is teaming up with Megan Fox to promote Diablo IV. Specifically, the Transformers actress will read eulogies for Diablo IV player deaths.
Players can submit their favorite in-game death to Blizzard using the hashtag #DiabloDeaths for a chance to have Fox read a eulogy. She'll tell the world, «You went out like a hero, or a chump.»
«If there is one thing I love, it's the sight of blood. And in Diablo IV, there are rivers of it,» she says in the promotional video.

is here, embrace the bloodshed. Share videos of your in-game death on Twitter or TikTok using <a href=«https://twitter.com/hashtag/DiabloDeaths?src=hash&ref_src=» https:>#DiabloDeaths for a chance to have your eulogy read by <a href=«https://twitter.com/meganfox?ref_src=» https:>@meganfox on June 8th. pic.twitter.com/dSgG2yuNbS
Fox previously talked about how she and her fiance Machine Gun Kelly like to drink one another's blood for ritual purposes. «It's just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other's blood on occasion for ritual purposes only,» she told Glamour UK.
Fox is not the only celebrity that Blizzard has partnered with to promote the launch of Diablo IV. Blizzard also worked with singers Halsey and Suga for the song «Lilith.»
Blizzard's efforts are seemingly working, as Diablo IV has quickly become Blizzard's fastest-selling game ever. The company did not reveal a sales figure, but for comparison, Diablo III sold 3.5 million units in its first 24 hours, so Diablo IV is seemingly doing better than that.
In other news, a Diablo IV Hardcore player who reached level 100 lost their character due to a disconnect.
