Capcom showcases the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection with a seven-minute gameplay video that highlights the major features and remastered graphics of the collection. For the uninitiated, Capcom announced this collection over the past summer, where it will include every single game in the series: Battle Networks 1-6, being split across two volumes. These will be sold as a digital exclusive, with all versions of the games being included in the collections and a release window of 2023 provided.
While the game doesn't have a firm release date just yet, Capcom has been showing off the collection at a variety of events. Not only did the game make an appearance at the Nintendo Mini Direct it was announced at, but more recently at Tokyo Game Show, with Capcom announcing a bunch of new features coming to the collection and highlighting how the games will look remastered. The video starts with the player being greeted by voiced Mega Man.EXE in a 3D menu, which is a special title select screen where players can choose which game from the collection they wish to play. Brief snippets of gameplay from the first three games are then shown. This menu allows players to adjust their control settings, access a special art gallery, or listen to various songs throughout the history of the series.
