Hulk's role in the MCU Phase 4 suggests that the Avenger has done what Thanos never could regarding the Infinity Stones. One of the three remaining active heroes from the original Avengers lineup, the Hulk continues without getting a solo film since 2008'sThe Incredible Hulk. That said, there are rumors of an MCU World War Hulk movie in the works, and audiences will get to see the character again in the upcoming Disney+ series She-Hulk.
Despite the lack of solo films, the Hulk managed to have a good enough arc spread through the four Avengers movies and Thor: Ragnarok. In fact, when compared to other founding members of the Avengers, the Hulk is arguably the character who has gone through the most changes. At first, Mark Ruffalo's version of the Hulk brought the more classic Jekyll-Hyde dynamic audiences have known for so long. However, in Avengers: Endgame, Hulk became Smart Hulk – a perfect balance between Hulk and Bruce Banner.

It was the Smart Hulk who offered himself up to perform the snap that would bring everyone back in Endgame. Hulk managed to use the power of all six Infinity Stones without dying, but he did get a serious arm injury in the process – very much like Thanos. However, Hulk also managed to heal from his injury some time later, as suggested by the She-Hulk trailer—something that Thanos never got to do. The time between Avengers: Infinity War's snap and the surviving Avengers appearing at Thanos' retirement farm in Endgame was not enough for the Mad Titan to fully heal himself, and he still had the injuries from the two successive snaps he had performed.
