The premiere episode of Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Part 2 copied one of the most dramatic moments of Thor: Ragnarok, revealing that Prince Adam did not need the Sword of Power to call upon the Power of Grayskull. This seemed to be a tribute to a similar moment, when the MCU Thor realized he did not need his hammer Mjolnir to summon the power that was his birthright.
