In what is now a colorful catalog of reskinned texture mods for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC, 3D Artist Marcos RC has shared their mod allowing fans to play as a licker from the Resident Evil 2 remake. Indeed, many mods have abundantly populated the game on PC since Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered’s port released.
Such mods have added reskins for The Spectacular Spider-Man’s animated model, Spider-Man 3’s symbiote suit, and Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee. Mods were already incredibly popular in Marvel’s Spider-Man before it launched on PC, and with the fluidity that mods can be produced with on PC that popularity has only excelled. Mods will likely continue to occupy Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered until nearly every franchise or IP has been represented, and one of its most recent mods now capitalizes on the fact that the player can crawl on all fours along surfaces and leap great distances.

In Marcos RC’s mod, players can now scale buildings as a licker, specifically from the Resident Evil 2 remake. This is shown in several demonstrative clips Marcos RC has shared with Spider-Man’s movements along a building, and with this licker reskin it is paralleled equally in terms of how lickers traverse. In the Resident Evil 2 remake, players must precariously walk through narrow corridors with the chance that a licker may be perched on a wall behind a corner; in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, however, players get to be that licker and also thwart crime in New York City.
