Superhot is a first-person action puzzle game with the promotional tagline: Time moves only when you move. Time progresses in-game when the player moves, and they need to figure out their next move in slow motion. The Matrix-like experience has roguelike elements and can take a long time to master its choreography.

The main story doesn't take long to finish, with players reporting that Superhot's campaign is approximately 2.5 hours. However, there's more to this unique action game than meets the eye with its side content and achievements/trophies. Thanks to Superhot's inclusion as a PlayStation Plus monthly title, PS owners have a chance to try out this game for themselves. Unfortunately, the PSVR version of Superhot is sold separately and not included in the main game.
According to How Long To Beat, most players report that just playing through Superhot's imaginative mix of action choreography and puzzles will take approximately2.5 hours, depending on a person's skill level. Speedrunners have finished Superhot in 50 minutes, and Completists are playing for around 20 hours to find everything.
The vast contrast between a regular playthrough of Superhot and completists is down to the difficult trophies and achievements. Going for the trophies allows for more creative ways to play the game and adds some additional replay value to what is otherwise a short game.
Many of the below trophies/achievements will be unlocked by playing through Superhot and experimenting with the tools that the game offers. However, unlocking endless levels, finding all the terminals, and beating all the challenges will take some time and effort.
