New fan art for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has reimagined Miles Morales' suit for the game, bringing it more in line with Peter Parker's. Insomniac's next entry in the Marvel's Spider-Man series is due to feature both Peter and Miles as Spider-Man as they take on a new threat from fan-favorite villain-cum-antihero, Venom.
The first Marvel's Spider-Man game focused primarily on Peter Parker and established a more mature take on the character in his early 20s, with Miles Morales appearing in a supporting role. When Insomniac revealed its first trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 at Sony's September 2021 showcase, it showed the two Spider-Men fighting side by side and unveiled some new features in Peter Parker's suit, which boasts new red mechanical arms along the lines of those seen in the Superior Spider-Man comics, where Doctor Octopus inhabited Peter's body. Fans have theorized that this evidence points to a future Superior Spider-Man storyline, but for now, nothing is known about how Peter acquired these upgrades.
