SPOILER WARNING for Spider-Punk #2
There have been a bunch of different teams throughout the Marvel Universe, but Spider-Man's punk variant has put together a group of Avengers that might be able to do something no other team of young heroes has done before.
First appearing in the blockbuster crossover event Spider-Verse, Spider-Punk is Hobie Brown, a guitar-playing punk rocker that fights against the forces of corporatism in his universe. His archival, like most Spider-Men, was Norman Osborn who Spider-Punk had no choice but to kill. Unfortunately, the corporatism of Spider-Punk’s world wasn't going away with the death of just one man. There are still plenty of forces to face including a neo-Nazi version of Kraven and a new Taskmaster. To help him in this fight, Spide-Punk has a young group of his own Avengers. This includes Captain Anarchy and versions of Ms. Marvel, and Ironheart.

This group of teenage superheroes, which featured prominently in Spider-Punk #2 by Cody Ziegler and Justin Mason, is reminiscent of a long-standing Marvel tradition of teams made up of teens. The Runaways, the Young Avengers, and the recently formed Champions come to mind. These youngsters often clash with the uptight adults on more than one occasion. Typically, these young teams lose against the older heroes as there is no way they can affect the status quo that much in the main Marvel universe. But Spider-Punk’s team can. Because this is a separate universe from the main one, it's certainly possible that Spider-Punk and his band of heroes can overturn the ruling adults in a way their mainstream counterparts never could.
