Warning! Spoilers ahead for Maestro: World War M #5
In the Marvel Universe, Namor the Submariner has a very distinctive look, and Marvel has revealed that his trademark pointy ears aren't just for show.
In a possible dystopian timeline where the Hulk has become the brutal dictator Maestro, several surviving super beings have come together to finally stop Maestro for good. After Maestro swam to the ocean floor and destroyed an Atlantian City, Namor teamed up with Dr. Doom and the original Human Torch. This was a particularly dire time for Namor as many of his citizens and family died during the attack.

In the new Maestro: World War M #5 by Peter David and Sebastian Cabrol, Maestro has teamed up with his former villain Abomination to stop the trio of heroes aligned against them. Having been woken up by Doom, Abomination was given a teleporter to be recalled back to Doom's headquarters. The receiver for the teleporter was lost, but when Abomination activated it, Namor was actually able to hear a faint sound coming from the device. It was so faint that the Human Torch was surprised he even heard it, to which Namor replied that his ears can actually hear a great deal above what a normal person's can.
Namor is an interesting character in the Marvel Universe and has worn many different hats over the years. He's been in the Marvel Universe for a quite a long time, having been a part of the WWII team heroes known as the Invaders while also being a villain of the Fantastic Four ever since Namor wanted to marry Susan Storm.
