The first key development in episode 7 was the resignation of the former Student Council President, Horikita Manabu, from his leadership position. This led to the selection of the new Student Council President, Nagumo Miyabi, from Class 2-A. Swearing publicly to turn the academy into a true meritocratic one, Nagumo Miyabi may be another impending obstacle that prevents Class 1-D's success in the academy. Fans can only wait to see how Miyabi changes the overall dynamic in the academy. At the end of swearing in session, Katsuragi approached Ayanokoji, warning him to be weary of Ryuen, despite his past alliance with Class C's leader.
