Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Glitch Takes Sunshine Airport To New Heights

A new glitch has been discovered in the Sunshine Airport course of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Despite its name, players do not actually fly through the racing course.

Like most of the other courses in the Mario Kart franchise, Sunshine Airport has dash panels that propel the player forward in a boost of speed, sometimes over a gap in the road.

When this happens, the racer's glider activates and sails them through the air. Once reaching the end of the gap, the player lands and the glider disappears.

This is not the case thanks to a new glitch found in the latest installment of Nintendo's beloved franchise. Despite the impressive reputation of most of Nintendo's titles, some glitches will go unnoticed by any developers.
