M. Night Shyamalan's secretive new project, Knock at the Cabin, expands its already impressive line-up, adding Matrix 4's Jonathan Groff and Pennyworth's Ben Aldridge to its cast. Following the completion of the Unbreakable trilogy almost 20 years after its conception, Shyamalan more recently returned to the single-story narrative, with the box-office hit Old.

Shyamalan isn't holding back with Knock at the Cabin, adding even more big names to his latest project, with both Groff and Aldridge joining the cast in currently undisclosed roles. The stars join the previously announced Dave Bautista, Rupert Grint and Nikki Amuka-Bird for the project. Although Shyamalan is confirmed to write, produce and direct the upcoming movie, no further details have been revealed regarding the movie's plot.
Despite being shrouded in mystery, Knock at the Cabin's impressive roster boasts well for Shyamalan's latest project. Both Aldridge and Groff have demonstrated incredible range in the past, with Groff receiving enormous praise for both his straight-faced role in crime drama Mindhunter, as well as providing comedic relief in smash-hit musical Hamilton. Aldridge too has flexed his acting range with a diverse set of roles, starring as both Thomas Wayne in Pennyworth and the aptly named Arsehole Guy in Fleabag. Shyamalan is also doubling down on his success with Grint, with whom the director currently works alongside for Apple TV+ series Servant. Knock at the Cabin is currently slated for a February 2023 release.
