Old-school JRPG fans are in for a treat early next year, as the Lunar games are making a long, long, long awaited return. Both Lunar: Silver Star Story and its sequel, Lunar 2: Eternal Blue, are being brought back as Lunar Remastered Collection in spring 2025. It's coming to PS5 and PS4.
The originals released all the way back in the 90s, and were ported to the PS1 a little later in the decade. The PlayStation versions in particular were met with much positivity, and are now remembered as often overlooked classics of the genre.
This collection comes with «widescreen support, enhanced pixel art, HD animated cutscenes, and all-new English voice acting». Very nice.

@GamingFan4Lyf Silver Star Harmony messed with the story pacing, changed the songs, and ruined the dungeons. Glad they opted for the PS1 version of the first game.
@Ralizah Ah. I didn't realize. Okay, well then I am glad they used the PS1 version, too!
The PS1 games are like $100-200 a piece, this collection is a godsend
