No iPhone user had much of an issue with the infamous display notch, other than bickering writers and Android fanboys on Twitter. However, in an era when Samsung and other Android phone makers are edging close to hiding the front camera, having a big blacked out notch on the latest exorbitantly priced iPhone was an eyesore. In the future, it is expected that more third-party apps will be able to take advantage of the Dynamic Island bar.
Sadly, Ross also says that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus won't see the faster 120Hz refresh rate displays, which Apple calls ProMotion. He says that BOE, which is one of many Apple's display suppliers, will be able to sustain the supply of LTPO panels for the masses by 2024, if things go well. Hence, it could be one more year of 60Hz displays on the vanilla iPhone models before
