Lost Judgment is an absolute joy to play. A big part of that is its excellent combat, which is host to an impressive number of interesting, and useful, attacks. However, you may have noticed that there are quite a few skills that are inaccessible. That is where the skill books come in. These books are used to make the aforementioned skills available.

In total, Lost Judgment has 28 skill books to acquire. Some of these are simply purchased, others are rewards for completing side cases. This guide will act as your one-stop-shop for acquiring every skill book in the game.
The good news is that a number of the skill books in Lost Judgement are easily obtained simply by purchasing them. Some of these will appear at different stages in the game; so, make sure to check back if the book you are looking for doesn't show up at any given shop.
A number of the Lost Judgment skill books can be acquired through completing side cases. All of these start at the Yokohama 99 office (with the sole exception of Squirrels Just Want To Have Fun).

In the The Forbidden Taste side case, you will start by meeting Meng Wu in Chinatown. He will tell you about the phantom ramen stall. After that, go listen to the various people talking about this mysterious ramen stand (they will be marked on your map as a blue folder). Return to Meng Wu. Together, you will conclude that the cats are the key. Find the cat located in the southern part of Chinatown (it, too, will be marked on your map).
