Lost Ark’s roadmap has shifted, with Tier 4 getting a slight delay for more localization work. the team updated with more info, as well as new release dates for some announced features.
This month, there's still an update on August 28th to introduce a few content nerfs to make them generally easier to complete.
The September update gets the most changes, since the current progression events are set to end on September 25th, and many expected Tier 4 to be released then. That was the original date, but the team hadn’t announced it yet, and now we know why. The update needs more localization work.
Tier 4, along with nearly all of the previously announced September update, will instead release two weeks later, on October 9th. The one exception will be the release of the Behemoth raid which is coming on September 11th. The 16-player raid is being released in Tier 3, with a reduced item level requirement, to help those prepare for Tier 4’s later arrival. When you complete the raid, you will get Tier 3 honing materials.
With the roadmap shift, October will instead get two updates, two weeks apart. More details on this will come. On October 16th, the next Kazeros Raid — Aegir, will become available. This release is their goal but tentative because they may release it on October 23rd, depending on general progression status for those preparing for endgame content.
With all of this, the previously-announced fresh start, fast progression Express Servers will be renamed to Ignite Servers to avoid confusion with Super Mokoko Express. These servers will be designed to let players get into Lost Ark, get familiar quickly and progress in an accelerated way that gives them the tools they need for success. Ultimately, they'll transfer their character from the express server to a legacy server.
This system is new globally, and it will debut on NA/EU servers.
