The Amazon-published MMO Lost Ark continues to be massively popular as one of Steam's most-played games. Free-to-play access to the MMO has certainly played a major part in Lost Ark's success, but so has the fact that Amazon localized a game that's been available for several years. That extra polish, years of availability in South Korea before being brought west, has given Lost Ark the momentum it needed to continue its launch success. It also means there's a pipeline of content arriving in Lost Ark faster than expected.
Amazon recently shared its release notes for Lost Ark's March update, which is arriving Thursday following a scheduled four-hour server maintenance. A diverse range of content is being introduced in the patch, including the Kadan story episode set in Isteri and the Illusion Bamboo Islands, the Abyss Raid Argos, the limited-time Arkesia Grand Prix racing event, Season 1 of the Competitive Proving Grounds, new skins, new log-in bonuses, and all sorts of bug fixes.
Lost Ark Won't Be Censoring Revealing Outfits
Lost Ark's most prominent addition is, of course, the Kadan story episode. It's a full new chapter for players to experience, just like the base game's campaign. The story revolves around the first Guardian slayer Kadan, the search for the final Ark, and new revelations regarding Sideareals. Players are recommended to be around item level 1,100 to play through the new content. Additionally, players will have to have completed Feiton and several additional prologue quests before starting.
