With the filming of Loki season 2 in full force, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans will be getting a lot more of Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief sooner than later on Disney Plus for streaming. Season one of Lokiended with a massive bang as Sylvie (played by Sophia Di Martino) killed ‘He Who Remains’ also known as Kang the Conqueror (played by Johnathan Majors). This led to chaos as the multiverse was unleashed.
He Who Remains also eerily warned the pair that he would return, as new timelines would manifest themselves within the multiverse. The finale closed with the statue of the Time Keepers being switched out for a statue of Kang the Conqueror. With season 1 being such a massive success, receiving great praise from both fans and critics, Loki season 2 has some big shoes to fill.
