The Lenovo IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 3 is now available in the United States following its announcement at Mobile World Congress 2022. Lenovo is one of the few brands in the Chrome OS tablet space, and it hit a home run with the Lenovo Chromebook Duet released in 2020. It is now following up with a successor that brings some needed upgrades.
Before the launch of the IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 3, Lenovo announced the Chromebook Duet 5, a massive 13-inch tablet that was initially thought to be the successor to the first Chromebook Duet. The company released the new tablet in 2021 and included features such as an OLED display and a Snapdragon chipset. It is already sold in the U.S.

The IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 3 is a smaller alternative to the 13-inch Duet 5 announced in Sept. 2021. The new tablet is already available for purchase, and it carries a $369 price tag. When Lenovo announced the tablet, it was revealed to come with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. However, the currently available model has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Also, only the Storm Gray colorway is available for now. Like its predecessor, the tablet will ship with a spill-resistant detachable keyboard (the trackpad), a folio case and a power adapter.
Among the upgrades the IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 3 brings is a bigger 11-inch (actually 10.9 inches) 2K (2000 × 1000) LCD display, making it easier to use for productive work. A major complaint of its predecessor was the cramped interface when using split-screen multitasking.
