Lego has teased its next set, which will give fans of Hasbro's Transformers the opportunity to build Autobot leader Optimus Prime. The actual set wasn't shown, but the reveal was teased in a tweet on Lego's official social media account.

Lego site The Brick Fan previously provided some rumored specs on the set, which is reported to be based on Optimus Prime's iconic G1 look and will have 1,508 pieces for the build. The G1 design makes sense, as that original incarnation of Prime is the Autobot commander at his blockiest and could fit in well with the Lego aesthetic.
Collaborations between Lego and other pop culture franchises have been a big part of the Danish company's business as of late. Horizon Forbidden West and Sonic the Hedgehog sets were released this year, and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been a big hit for the brand.
Beyond that, Lego and Epic Games are also teaming up an «immersive» family-friendly digital experience that's aimed at giving kids tools to create within a safe and positive space.
