A new mod for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga allows jetpack-wearing characters like Boba and Jango Fett to fly infinitely. TT Games’ latest LEGO game allows players to explore the ever-expanding Star Wars galaxy in many different ways, including a wide range of spaceships, speeder bikes, lumbering beasts of burden, and even the back-mounted jetpacks worn by characters like the Fetts or the First Order’s Jet Troopers from Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise Of Skywalker.
However, while these infamous bounty hunters and Imperial soldiers can take to the skies in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, their flight is limited to a short height above the ground, and they are always forced to land after a brief distance. This was true in Boba and Jango’s appearances in past LEGO Star Wars games as well and stands in sharp contrast to how Mandalorian-style jetpacks allow their users to soar freely in other Star Wars media like Attack Of The Clones and The Mandalorian. While getting to play as jetpack-using antagonists like the Fetts is a fun novelty for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga players, some find themselves wishing that they could do away with the limits found in the LEGO version of the rocket backpack and fly around a given map to their heart’s content.
