There are 121 ships to unlock in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. There are Starships, Capital Ships, and Micro Ships that can be unlocked by finishing story levels, finding collectibles, and completing side activities. Some Starships and Micro Ships are better suited for certain space missions, so unlocking different types of ships is worthwhile.
The Capital Ships are the hardest to unlock, but they also act as hub areas in Free Play. After unlocking a Capital Ship, players will be able to board and explore it. The Starships and Micro Ships can be used to complete missions and battles in space, and having a variety to test out in different scenarios keeps things interesting while exploring the galaxy in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

Most of the ships will also need to be purchased after being unlocked. While the Capital Ships are fairly expensive, many of the Starships can be purchased for a small amount of Studs. There are Stud multipliers that can be unlocked to make it easier to afford every ship. Luckily, the Micro Ships don't need to be purchased after collecting the necessary Minikits to assemble them.
Starships make up over half of the available ships to unlock in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. There are 71 Starships, including two that can only be obtained using cheat codes. Starships vary in maneuverability, firing rate, and speed, so unlocking different ships will help create unique experiences while flying around in space. There are a handful of Starships that will be unlocked while completing story missions, but many of them require side activities to be completed.
