Ahead of the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the development team released a detailed behind-the-scenes video on how the LEGO Star Wars galaxy was created. Even though no actual LEGOs were needed to build the planets and moons of the galaxy, the level of detail and effort that was put into creating LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is evident from this behind-the-scenes video.
While the LEGO video game series often focuses on creating new stories based on LEGO versions of beloved characters, the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga game will feature all nine of the main series of Star Wars films. The game will feature characters and locations from the main trilogy, prequel trilogy, and sequel trilogy, allowing players to control some of the franchise's most iconic characters. Characters have also been confirmed to be added after the launch of LEGO Star Wars, including characters from The Mandolorian and Solo: A Star Wars Story. With all these characters and locations spanning nine movies to be included in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, a great deal of effort was needed to make the virtual galaxy a reality.
