Legends of Tomorrow's season 7 boss teases more about Donald Faison's mysterious character, who is making his debut in the upcoming finale. The Arrowverse is wrapping a few shows this season as multiple season finales are airing on The CW. One of them is Legends of Tomorrow season 7 — the time-traveling drama will wrap up the war against the Evil Gideon in one way or another. The Batwoman season 3 finale will come right after, with Ryan Wilder dealing with her brother Marquis Jet, a.k.a. the Arrowverse's new Joker. Despite the finales coming up, The CW has yet to renew either show due to the network being up for sale.
While Legends of Tomorrow's season 8 renewal is pending, there is at least one known detail about the potential new season. Earlier this year, Scrubs star Donald Faison was announced to be joining the Arrowverse in the season 7 closer. Despite not revealing his character's identity, a very detailed character breakdown is alluding to Faison portraying the Arrowverse's Booster Gold. He is teased as an unauthorized time-traveler, whose «golden years» are behind him while he seeks an ego boost through fame, fortune, and glory, which are all iconic Booster traits. Even though Faison is debuting in the finale, fans should expect to see him on Legends of Tomorrow season 8 next year if The CW greenlights it.
