Legends of Tomorrow'sBooster Gold may be appearing in The Flash season 8 for an unexpected Arrowverse crossover. The Flash became the second Arrowverse TV show to air when it premiered in 2014, and Legends of Tomorrow became the fourth in 2016 after Supergirl. The Flash season 8 is currently airing on The CW, while Legends of Tomorrow's season 7 finale aired last week, leaving the season on a cliffhanger and adding a new character, Booster Gold.
Booster Gold is the most recent addition to the Arrowverse. DC Comics fans will know Booster Gold as Michael Jon Carter, a man from the future who joined the Justice League using technology brought from the 25th century to be a superhero. Carter often appears playful and proud, but his persona often hides his immense responsibility. Played by Donald Faison (Scrubs), the time-jumping hero was first introduced in Legends of Tomorrow season 7 episode 13, «Knocked Down, Knocked Up,» as a time fixer in the year 1916 named Mike. Then, after Mike and the Legends are arrested by the Time Police, Mike reveals himself to be Booster Gold.

Now, after Booster Gold's brief appearance in the Legends of Tomorrow season 7 finale, TV Line hints that the showboating superhero may be returning to the Arrowverse soon. In his recap to prepare viewers for The Flash's return after a three-month hiatus, TV Line's Matt Mitovitch warns viewers to watch out for "a character that was just introduced on Legends of Tomorrow." Booster Gold may be appearing in an Arrowverse crossover only a week after being introduced in the franchise.
