With Fortnite's new season beginning with a splash by removing building temporarily, all focus is on the gunplay, and what better weapons to use than the Exotics scattered around the map. For the players who put Fortnite down for a while, Exotic weapons are unique variations of various existing weapons in the game, each with a special ability unique to them. Each Exotic weapon can be purchased from the NPCs scattered around the map and can be bought a few times each.
Since they are some of Fortnite's strongest weapons, each one needs to be purchased in specific locations before they can be used. Their prices range from 400 to 600 gold bars each time a player wants to buy one, and cannot be obtained by fighting bosses as Mythics can. Mythics differ slightly in the sense that they have no additional abilities, but are rather the most improved version of their respective weapon, with the highest damage and accuracy of any other.

Each exotic is located at different points on the Fortnite map, and the first and most expensive Exotic is the Boom Sniper Rifle. As the name implies, this sniper has explosive rounds that have a small AOE. It can be purchased in The Daily Bugle, Launchpad, or a Seven Outpost. It is the most expensive of the bunch and can be purchased for 600 gold from Peely, The Visitor, or Agent Jones. Next is another sniper known as the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle, which is capable of seeing the next circle location while aiming.
