Donald Glover has hinted that the Lando Disney+ show is still happening, and the show could help solve two Star Wars problems. Introduced in The Empire Strikes Back as Han Solo's dodger but kind-hearted friend, Lando Calrissian quickly became a fan-favorite character. The former owner of the Millennium Falcon was originally played by Billy Dee Williams would and the actor returned in Return of The Jedi and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

While Solo failed at the box office, a Lando series spinning off of Glover's portrayal was announced in 2020. With Glover's recent comment on the project, it seems that the show is alive and well despite the lack of updates.
