A fan ofThe Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker has created a beautiful new Minecraft resource pack based on the game. Crossovers are a very common sight for Minecraft, as the block-based sandbox game has also recently received an official DLC based on the popular cartoon Spongebob Squarepants.
Minecraft's easily modded nature has helped to make it a hotbed for creativity over the years, with fans being able to recreate all kinds of franchises in the game. Redstone and Command Blocks can be used to dramatic effect. Various mods have also been used to insert concepts and game mechanics that radically change the Minecraft experience. And in addition to this, some ambitious fans have taken things a step further. Sprawling megabuilds have been able to reconstruct entire game worlds inside that of Minecraft, often aided by custom texture packs to perfect the resemblance. This naturally includes the land of Hyrule, which has seen The Great Plateau, including shrines, rebuilt in the game by one passionate player, amongst various other projects.

Now, a dedicated fan of The Wind Waker has produced a comprehensive resource pack for Minecraft, having been inspired by the official Super Mario Mash-Up Pack. As reported by NintendoLife, Twitter user StephenJPlant has recently released a version of the 'Wind Waker Edition' pack compatible with Minecraft version 1.19 via Planet Minecraft. The pack is actually too big for Planet Minecraft's systems to support as a single download, and the full version even relies on the optimization mod OptiFine to function. This is a consequence of the pack containing over 150 distinct new character skins, amongst many other changes
