A new dating sim spin-off called has arrived, allowing players to pursue a few of the game's biggest heroes. offers fans the choice between Genji or Mercy, and will receive romantic assistance from Hanzo, who's taken on the form of Cupid. While the browser game is currently only available for a limited time, running until February 28, Blizzard hasn't ruled out the potential for more romance in the future.
Each run of runs about 30 minutes, wherein players will go on three special dates with their chosen character. The three main options were chosen due to their long history with the series, and whether fans opt for Mercy, Genji, or the secret Cupid path in , each narrative is designed to give a new kind of humorous yet emotional insight to each hero. It's possible for players to fail in their pursuit of each character, with every choice they make determining if their romance will be successful.

participated in a special group interview with some of the creators of, where Narrative Designer Kyungseo Min and Senior Narrative Designer Miranda Moyer answered a few questions about constructing the narrative of the dating sim.
Screen Rant: I'm curious how you all decided on the different locations that were used for all the dates — the third date, which is more indicative to that character, the fancy restaurant, and of course a midtown NYC open-mic, which is perhaps the worst possible place to have a first date.
