Kourtney Kardashian, star of the upcoming Hulu series The Kardashians, is opening up about her "hard" and "emotional" journey to conceive a child with Travis Barker. The couple is set to give fans an inside look at their relationship on the new show. The promotional trailer teased Kourtney and Travis' doctor's visits to get started on expanding their family. However, the 42-year-old mother of three is admitting the challenges of conceiving a child with Travis.
With six kids between them, Kourtney and Travis are hoping to add at least one more to the bunch. Kourtney shares her three children--Mason, 12; Penelope, 9; and Reign, 7--with her ex Scott Disick. Travis shares his two teenage children--Landon, 18, and Alabama Barker, 16, along with his step-daughter Atiana De La Hoya--with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler. Their big blended family gets along great and enjoys spending time together. But now that Kourtney and Travis are engaged and planning to spend their future with each other, the celebrity couple is hoping to welcome a child together.

But with Kourtney being 42 and Travis being 46, their biological clocks only make it more difficult for them to conceive a child naturally. "It’s a beautiful thing that we'd love to have happen, but the journey is a bit hard for any woman who went on it," Kourtney told ET of her fertility struggles.
