One of the most prolific Nintendo franchises in history is Kirby, with the franchise getting a new entry almost every single year since it debuted in 1992. The latest Kirby game is Kirby and the Forgotten Land, a Nintendo Switch exclusive that's set to take the series in some bold new directions, abandoning its side-scrolling roots in favor of being a full-fledged 3D platformer.
Nintendo has been hyping Kirby and the Forgotten Land by releasing gameplay trailers and screenshots, highlighting what fans can expect from the game once its release date rolls around at the end of March. The latest batch of Kirby and the Forgotten Land screenshots released by Nintendo take a look at two of the game's boss fights, showing off the intimidating enemies that players will have to contend with at launch.

The two boss fights shown in the screenshots are enemies that have been featured prominently in Kirby and the Forgotten Land trailers. The first is the "Unfriendly Fronds" Tropic Woods, which is a tropical twist on Whispy Woods, a recurring boss that has appeared in numerous Kirby video games over the years. The screenshot shows Tropic Woods using its roots to cage Kirby in, while the pink fluff ball tries to fight back using Fire attacks.
The other boss seen in the latest Kirby and the Forgotten Land screenshots is the "Strong-Armed Beast" Gorimondo. Gorimondo is a massive gorilla with a white mohawk that will try to take out Kirby with a spin attack. One screenshot of Gorimondo not only shows his spin attack in action, but it also shows Kirby and the Forgotten Land's co-op gameplay, with Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee joining forces to take down Gorimondo.
