The Kirby franchise is rather known for its cheerful, upbeat music that sets up a great atmosphere across the colorful world of Dream Land. While the series has a certain feel it's most known for, the music in the series has never been afraid to break new boundaries and do something different. Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, for example, wasn't afraid to bring in hip-hop beats and make things sound dark and dusty when called for in certain levels. To celebrate the pink puffball and his adventures, a 30th anniversary concert will be livestreamed worldwide that celebrates the series' music.
Kirby made his debut on the Game Boy with Kirby's Dream Land back in 1992. The little pink ball quickly stole fans' hearts and has since been a staple on many of Nintendo's consoles. The series is still going strong to this day with Kirby: Star Allies on the Switch, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land is set to come out in late March. The new title is sure to bring some wonderful new music to Kirby's library, which may be performed live at the anniversary concert.

The "Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Fest" has been announced by the official Kirby social media channels, which will not only be a live concert held at Japan's Tokyo Garden Theater but will also be livestreamed to YouTube for overseas fans for free. The concert promises to deliver the series' songs as performed by a «big-band style ensemble» made up of 35 musicians, with Kirby himself participating in real-time on an LED monitor, dancing around as fans celebrate his birthday.
