WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash launched his podcast, Kliq This, a few weeks ago, and recently compared AEW television to a defunct wrestling company's secondary show. He has an interesting and noteworthy perspective on the business, given the impacts that his moves have made over the last two decades. As such, his podcast provides some interesting food for thought for wrestling fans.
Nash, of course, rose to fame under WWE's banner but made his biggest contributions to wrestling after jumping ship and heading to WCW. Along with Scott Hall, Nash formed The Outsiders, which would eventually turn into the NWO. This more or less triggered the Monday Night Wars, which is a period of wrestling history that gets talked about more than just about anything that's ever happened in the industry.

In the most recent episode of Kliq This, Nash spoke about what he sees whenever he watches AEW's weekly programs. The comparisons aren't great if you're a fan of All Elite Wrestling. When asked about his impressions of the shows, Nash said that “It just seems…dated?" He continued: "It has a very WCW Thunder feel when I watch it." Nash admitted that he doesn't spend a lot of his free time watching wrestling, but noted that he prefers WWE for a few specific reasons. “I don’t watch wrestling that often, and if I’m going to watch a product, just visually … the crystal-clear production, and costuming, and everything else that the WWE gives me, I feel like it’s Cirque du Soleil instead of f***ing, you know, Ringling Brothers.” (The following video contains uncensored explicit language, please be advised.)
