In 2012, New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton was suspended for the entire NFL season due to his role in the Bountygate scandal. As he served the suspension, he worked as the offensive coordinator for his young son's football team. Though Bountygate was a serious controversy (the Saints issued bonuses to players for injuring opponents), Payton's real-life story has been turned into the comedic film, Home Team. The movie stars Kevin James as Payton and Taylor Lautner as Troy Lambert, another one of the youth team's coaches.
Screen Rant spoke to the two leading men about their fandom for each other, bringing Payton to life, and much more.

Screen Rant: I was so excited to talk to you both because I feel like all of my fandoms are colliding into one movie. I know it's actually your second time working together, but do you guys have a favorite role of each other that you later admitted to each other?
Taylor Lautner: Oh, it'd be tough for me. I mean, Hitch, of course. But man, I love Paul Blart. I love Zookeeper. I'm just a big KJ fan all around.
Kevin James: And I am of Taylor. Taylor knows he's just amazing. And you know, Twilight, we just talked about Twi-Dads, because it's really remaking the rounds again, really being popular again, and it's an amazing movie. But for me, I gotta tell you it is Sharkboy because it's not only that, it's a family affair. We all sit down and watch it and I try to explain to my kids that he can jump around and do all the stuff he does in that, in real life now as an adult, and that kind of freaks them out.
I have a question. I'm a huge Twilight fan. I went to Forks. What is Twi-Dad's?
Taylor Lautner: So Twi-moms, they're a big group.
