Warning! Spoilers for Kang the Conqueror #5 andLoki on Disney+ below
Ravonna Renslayer has been a critical part of Kang the Conqueror's life as he ascended into the Marvel Comics supervillain. However, the version of Renslayer seen in Loki on Disney+ may have made a surprise cameo in the comic book universe, as the TVA leader was spotted in a panel of Kang the Conqueror's recently wrapped up miniseries. So is Ravonna from Loki comic canon? It sure seems possible.
Kang the Conqueror is one of Marvel's greatest bad guys, as the time-traveling villain faced off against the Avengers during some of their earliest adventures. First appearing as Kang in The Avengers #8, he would soon be more fleshed out as a character as his own tragic backstory was introduced in later issues. After debuting in Avengers #23, Ravonna Renslayer, the daughter of a king whose civilization was the last left unconquered in the 40th century, would meet her demise an issue later, professing her love to Kang as she died in his arms. Many different versions of Ravonna would later appear in the comics. In addition, Renslayer would make her live-action debut as a high-ranking judge in the TVA inLoki. Now, Marvel Comics seems to be connecting the comic and MCU worlds with a fun, recent easter egg.
