While Marvel announced the arrival of Kahhori back in March 2023, she made her official MCU debut in the 6^th What If…? Season 2 episode titled, “What If… Kahhori Reshaped the World?”. In MCU’s dimension 616, Odin hid the Tesseract in Norway on Earth. But an alternate universe saw the Tesseract landing in the sovereign Haudenosaunee Confederacy before the colonization of America.

The impact cracked its shell open and the space stone ended up in a neighboring lake to the home of a Mohawk tribe. It opened a portal to a unique sky world that was powered by the space stone itself. As a result, many people from the Mohawk tribe kept falling into the portal over time and ended up in the sky world. All of them were imbued with new powers and abilities inherited from the Space Stone realm.
