Hot Wheels Unleashed has just received a new season of dinosaur-themed content in the form of a Jurassic World crossover. The latest film in the franchise, Jurassic World Dominion, recently arrived in theaters and concludes the sequel trilogy that started in 2015.
Hot Wheels Unleashed has been getting a steady stream of crossover content ever since it launched late last year. These have already included properties like Street Fighter, Batman, SpongeBob SquarePants, and many others. The game's DLC roadmap also indicates that there will be even more crossovers in the future, spread across multiple seasons and expansions. Hot Wheels Unleashed has even reached outside of the game itself, with Forza Horizon 5 recently revealing its own Hot Wheels crossover DLC during Summer Game Fest.

A launch trailer from PlayStation shows off the the latest season of content for Hot Wheels Unleashed, and it is based on Jurassic World. The new spate of cross-promotional content features six dinosaur-themed vehicles based on the Velociraptor, Stegosaurus, Mosasaurus, Triceratops, and Tyrannosaurus Rex. The T. Rex also has its own monster truck variant, and the new season of Hot Wheels Unleashed will add 15 unlockable customization items for Player Profiles and the Basement. As always, a number of gears and coin rewards will also be included.
The season will take place from now until August 30, and will be comprised of both free and premium items. Standard challenge progression will unlock the free items, but players will have to pay $5.99 for the season pass in order to unlock premium items (such as the new custom cars).
