Jurassic World Dominion is already addressing the inevitable complaints about the dinosaurs in the movie. What was shown of the Pyroraptors in the new trailer provides a hint at how the movie will try to avoid criticisms about its creatures. There will likely be moments where their behaviors are perceived as a bit hard to believe, if not utterly ridiculous.
The second full trailer for Jurassic World Dominion provides a deeper look at what comes next for the humans and the dinosaurs in the franchise’s next (and possibly last) installment. Thanks to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’s ending, dinosaurs have been released into the world. Naturally, humans being forced to coexist with genetically engineered dinosaurs is sure to lead to all sorts of unique situations. Some of them have been previewed in the trailers, which show Jurassic World’s characters and returning favorites from the original trilogy dealing with some of the new realities set up by the last movie. Among the threats they’ll be facing over the course of the film include the Spinosaurus, the Quetzalcoatlus, and the Pyroraptors.

While standing over a frozen body of water, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) were attacked by a Pyroraptor. The dinosaur made a surprising move by burrowing into the ice and swimming effortlessly through the water. The dinosaur’s ability to swim has already been met with ridicule, but it appears Jurassic World Dominion may have an answer for this big criticism.
